The fully remote role centres on production-grade AWS architecture, automated CI/CD, IaC with Terraform / CloudFormation, observability, MLOps for SageMaker workloads, and cost optimisation. Responsibilities

Design and manage AWS infrastructure using EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda, ECS / EKS, VPC, IAM, CloudFront for high availability and scalability. Build and optimise CI/CD pipelines with AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD. Author Terraform, CloudFormation, and Ansible for repeatable, versioned environments. Implement monitoring with CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK plus AI-driven anomaly detection. Enforce AWS Well-Architected security — encryption, WAF, GuardDuty, automated vulnerability scanning. Support MLOps by deploying SageMaker models and optimising training / inference costs. Run blue-green / canary deployments and chaos engineering. Mentor juniors and automate routine tasks with Python and Bash.

Requirements & qualifications

5+ years hands-on AWS DevOps experience. AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Professional or Solutions Architect strongly preferred. Strong Docker, Kubernetes (EKS), Terraform, Git, Linux, Python, and networking fundamentals. Multi-cloud (GCP / Azure) exposure and AI / ML integration are pluses. Strong async-remote communication; willingness to handle on-call rotations. Bachelor's in CS / Engineering or equivalent practical track record.
