Responsibilities

Architect and operate workloads for Infosys's global enterprise clients across AWS, Azure and GCP — landing zones, hub-and-spoke networks, identity federation, and unified observability — in line with the Infosys Cobalt cloud reference architecture. Author cloud-agnostic Terraform modules where possible, with provider-specific specialisations for EKS, AKS and GKE; contribute back into the Infosys Cobalt module library used across global delivery accounts. Operate Kubernetes clusters across all three clouds: cluster lifecycle management, Helm-packaged platform add-ons, Workload Identity / IRSA / Workload Identity Federation for least-privilege workload IAM, and a service-mesh layer (Istio or Linkerd) where the client demands mTLS or fine-grained traffic shaping. Implement GitOps delivery via ArgoCD or FluxCD with environment promotion through git PRs, ApplicationSets for fleet-scale deployments, and progressive-delivery patterns (canary, blue-green, traffic shifting). Design CI/CD pipelines in whichever toolchain the client uses — Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps Pipelines or GitLab CI — with reusable workflow libraries and image-signing. Lead DevSecOps adoption: SAST / DAST / SCA / IaC scanning in CI, secrets management, runtime threat detection, and centralised SIEM ingestion. Tailor the bar to each client's regulatory profile (PCI-DSS, HIPAA, GDPR, RBI / SEBI guidelines for Indian BFSI clients). Drive FinOps practices: cost allocation, anomaly detection, Savings Plan / Reserved Instance / CUD modelling, Azure Hybrid Benefit. Produce monthly client-facing FinOps reports with realised savings. Mentor junior engineers, run weekly Cobalt knowledge-sessions, and contribute to Infosys's annual cloud certification drive (Infosys is a top-3 globally for cloud-certified engineers).

Requirements & qualifications

3-14 years of DevOps / Platform Engineering experience — Infosys offers roles across Senior Engineer, Technology Lead, Technology Architect and Senior Architect grades, matched at the offer stage. Hands-on production exposure to at least two of AWS, Azure and GCP. Senior + grades expect proven multi-cloud delivery. Production Kubernetes — at least 2 years on EKS, AKS or GKE. Strong Terraform; comfortable across multi-cloud module design and review. At least one CI/CD platform mastered end-to-end (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI). DevSecOps and FinOps awareness; comfortable presenting trade-offs to client architects. Cloud certifications across two providers preferred for senior + roles. B.Tech / B.E. / MCA / equivalent. Infosys also accepts strong non-engineering graduates with proven DevOps trajectories.
