Responsibilities

Develop machine-learning models for image processing and crop analysis — disease detection, growth assessment and quality grading from field imagery — that feed directly into farmer-facing products. Build data pipelines and backend systems for AI-driven agri applications: ingestion, labelling workflows, storage, and the serving layer that puts a model's output in front of a farmer. Work on computer-vision tasks using PyTorch (and C++ where performance on-device matters), from dataset preparation through training and evaluation. Contribute to real, shipped products in a fast-moving startup environment — your work reaches actual users rather than sitting in a sandbox. Collaborate closely with the small founding / engineering team, and document your models and pipelines so they can be maintained after your internship.

Requirements & qualifications

Freshers or recent graduates in Computer Science, AI / ML or a related field. Working Python and core ML fundamentals; exposure to PyTorch and, ideally, some C++ for computer-vision work. Interest in data engineering — building reliable pipelines and backends, not just training models. Comfort in an early-stage startup: ambiguity, ownership, and shipping iteratively. In your cover letter, state your preferred role (e.g. "ML & Data Engineer"), your available duration (2-6 months), and the most relevant project you have built.
