Responsibilities

<ul><li>Embed with ISV engineering teams and adapt to their codebase, practices, release cycle and product architecture</li><li>Design and build MongoDB-backed features, including data models, indexes, queries, persistence layers and migration tooling</li><li>Implement coexistence and migration approaches such as synchronization, change data capture, dual writes, validation and controlled cutover</li><li>Validate solutions for performance, resilience, security and operational readiness across Atlas, Enterprise Advanced, Kubernetes private clouds and on-prem setups</li><li>Support partner engineers through pairing, code reviews and documentation</li><li>Record reusable patterns, tooling and product gaps to speed up later engagements</li></ul>

Requirements & qualifications

<ul><li>5+ years of hands-on backend engineering on production applications</li><li>Strong application-side MongoDB knowledge: data modeling, aggregation, indexing, transactions and change streams</li><li>Solid application-level experience with a major relational database</li><li>Experience introducing a new database into a large codebase and migrating production workloads using dual-write or CDC patterns</li><li>Strong coding skills in two or more of Java, C#/.NET, Node.js/TypeScript, Python and Go</li><li>SaaS product engineering experience, including multi-tenancy, versioned schemas and backward compatibility</li><li>Willingness to spend significant time on-site with partners and travel within the region</li></ul>
