Responsibilities

Own end-to-end CI/CD for assigned services — Jenkins, GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps Pipelines — with reusable templates, secret-pulling from a vault, image signing and SBOM generation. Author and review Terraform modules covering AWS services. Maintain remote state with environment isolation and run terraform-plan reviews on every infrastructure pull request. Operate production Kubernetes clusters (EKS / AKS / GKE) at meaningful scale — Helm-packaged platform add-ons, IRSA / Workload Identity, NetworkPolicy, PodSecurity standards, and minor-version cluster upgrades on a quarterly cadence. Build the observability stack — Prometheus + Grafana for metrics, Loki / ELK for logs, OpenTelemetry for traces — and gate SLO regressions in CI. Drive at least one cost-optimisation initiative per quarter (Savings Plans, Spot, Graviton migration, image rightsizing) and report realised savings to engineering management. Mentor interns and freshers, run weekly tech-share sessions, lead post-incident reviews and contribute to the team's runbook library.

Requirements & qualifications

1-3 years of hands-on DevOps or SRE experience on AWS, with at least one year on Kubernetes (EKS / AKS / GKE). Strong Docker, Terraform, one CI/CD tool (Jenkins / GitHub Actions / Azure DevOps), Linux administration, Bash and Python at automation-quality level. Working observability experience (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK / Loki). AWS / Azure / GCP / CKAD certifications are a plus.
