About the role

Infosys Mysore Education Centre is opening fresher internship slots for Platform Engineering — building Internal Developer Platforms on Kubernetes for top-3 banking clients using Backstage + Crossplane.

The Infosys Mysore Education Centre — the world's largest corporate training facility — is hiring 2025 and 2026 freshers for its Platform Engineering track. The 16-week residential program covers Kubernetes deep-dive, Helm chart authoring, Argo CD GitOps workflows, Backstage portal customisation, and Crossplane for declarative cloud provisioning. You will join an active platform team building an Internal Developer Platform (IDP) for one of Infosys' top-3 banking clients.

Responsibilities

Author Helm charts and Kustomize overlays for microservices. Build Backstage software templates that bootstrap new services in under 5 minutes. Write Crossplane compositions for AWS RDS, S3 and SQS. Implement Argo CD ApplicationSets for multi-cluster GitOps. Document patterns for the platform team handbook.

Requirements & qualifications

BE / BTech / MCA passout 2025 or 2026 with 70%+. Working knowledge of Linux, Git and at least one programming language (Go or Python preferred). Familiarity with containers (any). Strong communication for cross-team collaboration. Willing to commit to 24-month bond.
