Responsibilities

Assist in AI algorithm research and development aimed at real-world city problems — healthcare access, transportation flow, public-service efficiency and citizen-facing applications. Build and deploy AI-powered applications using Python, TensorFlow and cloud tooling, taking ideas from notebook to a running, testable service. Analyse large, messy real-world datasets, create predictive models, and visualise insights clearly for non-technical stakeholders. Collaborate with senior researchers and engineers on scalable solutions and, where the work merits it, on publications. Participate across the full AI lifecycle: data collection and cleaning, feature engineering, modelling, evaluation, testing and deployment. Explore 2026-relevant techniques — generative AI and edge computing — applied to constrained, real-deployment smart-city contexts.

Requirements & qualifications

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's in AI, Data Science, Computer Science or a related field. Strong Python skills and a genuine eagerness to learn; freshers and students are highly encouraged to apply. Working understanding of core ML / data-science concepts and at least one framework (TensorFlow / scikit-learn / PyTorch) through coursework or projects. Comfort working with data — loading, cleaning, exploring and visualising real datasets. Bonus: any exposure to cloud platforms, GenAI tooling, or academic project / research experience.
