About the role

Sopra Steria Noida is hiring 2025-2026 freshers for a GitOps + Argo CD engineer track — building declarative continuous-deployment pipelines for European banking and insurance clients using the full Argo suite.

GitOps has become the default deployment model for cloud-native applications in 2026, and Sopra Steria's Noida delivery centre is staffing a dedicated GitOps practice. The 10-week training covers Git workflows for infrastructure, Argo CD ApplicationSets, Flux CD, Helm chart authoring, Kustomize overlays, Sealed Secrets / External Secrets Operator, OPA Gatekeeper for policy, Renovate for automated upgrades, and progressive delivery with Argo Rollouts. Post-training you support a French banking client's multi-cluster Kubernetes platform.

Responsibilities

Author and maintain Argo CD ApplicationSets for 50+ microservices. Convert client legacy CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins) to GitOps. Implement progressive delivery (canary, blue-green) with Argo Rollouts. Set up Renovate for automated dependency upgrades. Write OPA Gatekeeper policies that prevent insecure manifests from merging.

Requirements & qualifications

BE / BTech / MCA passout 2025 or 2026 with 65%+. Strong Git fluency (must). Basic Kubernetes understanding. Working English (French is a plus for client-facing roles). Linux comfort. Comfortable in YAML.
